Payment Policy
Monthly tuition is due at the first week for the upcoming month. This will be autocharged or invoiced.
Full tuition is required each month, regardless of attendance.
There is no prorated amounts due to GCPS breaks, holidays, weather closures, or any event from the school.
All payments must be made electronically via Brightwheel or our Invoice system. We do not accept cash, checks, or money orders.
After 3 unsuccessful payments, your student will be withdrawn from our program. - Returned Payments will incur a $35 fee.
Registration
Registration must be done before Friday 5pm to start the following week.
Once registered, we will send you information for your registration to your email in the next business day.
If you register, in between a full month, it will be prorated on your invoice.
Withdrawal
Parents are to provide written notice to management before withdrawing my child(ren) from the program. You must email Kelsey Kim at bighittenniskelsey@gmail.com
During this notice period, tuition remains due and payable.
Your child’s last day will be the last day of the month of the written notice day.
You will not get a prorated amount as a refund for the remainder of the month.
If you choose to leave our program and sign up again, you must pay a new registration fee per child.
Holiday & Weather Closures - GCPS
Big Hit Care follows GCPS school district calendar and will be closed on days when schools are not in session, including closures due to inclement weather.
Tuition will not be prorated for planned or unexpected closures.
General Policies
Communication with parents will be all via Brightwheel
Students must be picked up by 6:15 PM. A late fee of $4 per child, per minute, will apply after that time.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.
Big Hit Care will not administer medication.

Care Program

During Big Hit Care, students will participate in enrichment learning activities designed to support and reinforce their academic growth following the schedule above.
Students will work closely with their care teachers on targeted reading and math practice, receive individualized homework help (if necessary), and engage in hands-on activities aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence. This supportive environment helps students build confidence, strengthen core skills, and stay on track with their classroom learning.

Check out time is anytime between 3:30-6:15 PM.
Once officially registered, all parents must join our app (instructions on our Welcome email) where you can directly text our team when you are parked at the school for student pickup. Relax in your car and one of our staff members will bring your student to you.

Yes, of course! We are a dependent day care service, where you can write off as an expense or get reimbursement from your employer.

Please include your student’s full name, teacher’s name, grade level, and the anticipated last day of our program.

Tennis & Golf Club

Students stay right at school with no additional transportation needed!
At dismissal time around 3:15 PM, the front office will announce over the intercoms for all Big Hit Academy students to start transitioning to the Gymnasium. Your student’s teacher will then help dismiss all Big Hit Academy clubs to their registered club. Teachers have a list of all registered students and are responsible for dismissing our club students to the front of the school where students will meet our club coaches.
Once students are checked in with our teachers in the gym, our clubs will start activities as scheduled.
Our team will check students in and smoothly transition to their respective class.
If your student is in Kindergarten, we will have a dedicated coach who will go directly to their hallway to ensure we safely and effectively have them.

Unfortunately, our program does not allow this in agreement with the school and its administration. This is for the safety of all students and staff on school campus. Thank you for your understanding.

TENNIS:
Tennis rackets are NOT provided for the tennis sessions. Therefore, it is essential that your student brings their own racket in their backpack for each club day. This is permitted on the bus and with the school. Alternatively, you may also choose to purchase a racket from us which will be given to your student at club.
In the case your student forgets their racket at home, we do have extra demo/borrow rackets for the students to use.
GOLF:
Golf clubs are provided at club for students. Our clubs accommodate both left-handed and right-handed players.
It is important to note that bringing your own personal golf clubs to school is NOT permitted. This policy is in place to maintain school safety procedures.

For all of our clubs, we make it a priority to differentiate students into their respective grade levels as well as their specific skill levels.
This ensures that each child is placed in an environment that is most suitable for their learning and development.
Please make sure you select the correct skill level on your registration form, as this will help us plan accordingly and create a tailored experience for everyone involved!

Our clubs operate with a ratio of 1 coach for every 6-14 students.
This structure ensures that each student receives adequate attention and guidance during their lessons. Additionally, every grade is systematically divided into their own distinct groups, which are organized based on both skill level and age. This approach allows for a tailored experience that meets the unique needs of each student, fostering a supportive learning environment.

Unfortunately not. Due to us following Gwinnett County Public Schools and those academic calendars, we do not provide makeup classes and/or credits for any missed classes for any reason, no exceptions.

Yes, early pickups are allowed with reason! Please feel free to email us or message us directly through our app (instructions included in our Welcome email), and we will release your student for early pickup at your requested time.
