Payment Policy

Monthly tuition is due at the first week for the upcoming month. This will be autocharged or invoiced.
Full tuition is required each month, regardless of attendance.
All payments must be made electronically. We do not accept cash, checks, or money orders.
After 3 unsuccessful payments, your student will be withdrawn from our program. - Returned Payments will incur a $35 fee.
If you choose to leave our program between a full month, you will not get a prorated amount as a refund.
If you choose to leave our program and sign up again, you must pay a new registration fee per child.
Parents are to provide 30 days written notice to management before withdrawing my child(ren) from the program. During this notice period, tuition remains due and payable.

Registration

Registration must be done before Friday 5pm to start the following week.
Registration is LIMITED, if our classes are full, we will have a waitlist.
Once registered, we will email in the next 24-48 hrs to make sure your child is enrolled and not on a waitlist.
If you register, in between a full month, it will be prorated on your invoice. We will prorate with the remaining school days left for the month.

Holiday & Weather Closures - GCPS

Big Hit Tennis & Golf follows GCPS school district calendar and will be closed on days when schools are not in session, including closures due to inclement weather.
Tuition will not be prorated for planned or unexpected closures.

General Policies

Students must be picked up after time posted will be charged a late fee. A late fee of $4 per child, per minute, will apply after the check out time.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.
Big Hit Academy will not administer medication.

As your child grows, their racquet may need to be adjusted to match their size and skill level. Rather than purchasing a new racquet each time, we offer a racquet exchange program. If your child needs a larger or smaller racquet, we will exchange their current racquet for the appropriate size, provided there are no major defects. This exchange option is available as long as your child remains enrolled in our program. Racquets will be given at child's first day. *Color, brand, and design will vary.

Big Hit Academy Agreement

I hereby give permission for my child(ren) to be photographed or videotaped while attending the program. 16. I understand that I am required to provide 30 days written notice to management before withdrawing my child(ren) from the program. During this notice period, tuition remains due and payable.

Medical Agreement

In case of an emergency concerning my child(ren) where I am unreachable, I give consent for necessary medical treatment. I acknowledge that Big Hit Academy (Big Hit Care) does not offer accident insurance and accept full responsibility for all medical costs related to the care of my child(ren). I agree to indemnify, release, and hold harmless Big Hit Academy (Big Hit Care) and Gwinnett County Public Schools from any liability. Big Hit Academy (Big Hit Care) will not administer any medication during camp hours. If your child is on medication, it will need to be given before or after camp hours. We will give the child life threatening medications such as EPI pens, asthma inhaler, etc. Please inform us of any known allergies to food, meds, emergency medication your child might need to take above. It is understood that it is the responsibility of the child’s family, or guardian to keep their child’s records current and provided to Big Hit Academy (Big Hit Care) staff to reflect any significant changes as they occur, (e.g. telephone numbers, emergency contacts, child’s physician, child’s health status, etc.). HEALTH & EMERGENCY AUTHORIZATION: In case of accident or illness requiring medical attention, the undersigned authorize Big Hit Academy (Big Hit Care) staff to call a healthcare provider or to take my child(ren) to the nearest hospital or doctor, and it is understood that if possible their services will be obtained. If neither parents nor preferred health care provider can be contacted, the transportation provider is authorized to contact another healthcare provider. It is also understood that this agreement only covers those situations, which in the best judgment of the transportation provider are true emergencies. I authorize emergency treatment deemed necessary by a physician in the event that I cannot be reached for permission. I agree to be responsible for the cost of such emergency and medical care. RISK STATEMENT: Bright from the Start: GA Department of Early Care & Learning Rules and Regulations: 591-1-1-.46(b)10(vi) requires that programs shall inform Parents about the physical risks a child may face while participating in the program: Programs operated after the customary school day, as defined in Georgia law, for children five (5) years and older that are strictly instructional and skill-based in a single talent, ability, expertise, proficiency or subject or in closely related skills, proficiencies or subjects, including but not limited to classes such as art, cheerleading, dance, drama, gymnastics, martial arts and music. By signing this form I am indicating that I knowingly accept and assume the risk of injury that might occur from participation in the Big Hit Academy (Big Hit Care) club program. I acknowledge and understand that there is a risk of injury involved in participation and that the program, nor its trained professionals, can eliminate the risk of injury. LIABILITY AGREEMENT In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the Big Hit Academy (Big Hit Care) club program, the undersigned; 1.) Acknowledges and fully understand that each participant will be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses which might result not only from their own actions, inactions, or negligence of others, the rules of play or of the premises or of any equipment used. Furthermore, that there may be other risks not known to us or not reasonably foreseeable at this time; 2.) Assume all foregoing risks and accepts personal responsibility for the damages following such injury, permanent disability or death. 3.) Releases, waives discharges and covenants not to sue Big Hit Academy (Big Hit Care), it's affiliates, owners, their respective administrators, directors, agents, coaches, and other employees of the organization, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertise, and if applicable, owners and leasers of the premises used to conduct the activities of Big Hit Academy (Big Hit Care) , all of which are hereafter referred to as 'releases' from demands, losses or damages on account of injury, including death or damage of property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or part by negligence or the releases or otherwise, My child(ren) are fit in every way to participate in all of the activities/events performed by Big Hit Academy (Big Hit Care). I consent to my child(ren)'s participation. I HAVE READ AND I UNDERSTAND THE WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND I AM SIGNING IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT. In consideration of allowing my child to participate. I consent to it and agree that IT'S TERMS SHALL LIKEWISE BIND ME, MY CHILD, MY HEIRS, LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES, AND ASSIGNEES. I HEREBY RELEASE AND SHALL DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASES FROM EVERY CLAIM AND ANY LIABILITY that I or my child(ren) may allege against the Releases (including reasonable attorney's fees or costs) as a direct or indirect result of injury/harm to me or my child(ren) because of my child(ren) participation in the Big Hit Academy (Big Hit Care) activities/events and programs. WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASES OR OTHERS. I PROMISE NOT TO SUE RELEASE ON my behalf or on behalf or on behalf of my child(ren) regarding any claims arising from my child(ren) participation in the Big Hit Academy (Big Hit Care) programs, activities/events. *Releases includes the following: Big Hit Academy, its affiliates, owner, respective administrators, directors, agents, coaches, and other employees of the organization, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and leasers of premises used to conduct the activities of Big Hit Academy (Big Hit Care).

Questions

Students stay right at school with no additional transportation needed!
At dismissal time around 3:15 PM, the front office will announce over the intercoms for all Big Hit Academy students to start transitioning to the Gymnasium. Your student’s teacher will then help dismiss all Big Hit Academy clubs to their registered club. Teachers have a list of all registered students and are responsible for dismissing our club students to the front of the school where students will meet our club coaches.
Once students are checked in with our teachers in the gym, our clubs will start activities as scheduled.
Our team will check students in and smoothly transition to their respective class.
If your student is in Kindergarten, we will have a dedicated coach who will go directly to their hallway to ensure we safely and effectively have them.
Unfortunately, our program does not allow this in agreement with the school and its administration. This is for the safety of all students and staff on school campus. Thank you for your understanding.
TENNIS:
Tennis rackets are NOT provided for the tennis sessions. Therefore, it is essential that your student brings their own racket in their backpack for each club day. This is permitted on the bus and with the school. Alternatively, you may also choose to purchase a racket from us which will be given to your student at club.
In the case your student forgets their racket at home, we do have extra demo/borrow rackets for the students to use.
GOLF:
Golf clubs are provided at club for students. Our clubs accommodate both left-handed and right-handed players.
It is important to note that bringing your own personal golf clubs to school is NOT permitted. This policy is in place to maintain school safety procedures.
For all of our clubs, we make it a priority to differentiate students into their respective grade levels as well as their specific skill levels.
This ensures that each child is placed in an environment that is most suitable for their learning and development.
Please make sure you select the correct skill level on your registration form, as this will help us plan accordingly and create a tailored experience for everyone involved!
Our clubs operate with a ratio of 1 coach for every 6-14 students.
This structure ensures that each student receives adequate attention and guidance during their lessons. Additionally, every grade is systematically divided into their own distinct groups, which are organized based on both skill level and age. This approach allows for a tailored experience that meets the unique needs of each student, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Unfortunately not. Due to us following Gwinnett County Public Schools and those academic calendars, we do not provide makeup classes and/or credits for any missed classes for any reason, no exceptions.
Yes, early pickups are allowed with reason! Please feel free to email us or message us directly through our app (instructions included in our Welcome email), and we will release your student for early pickup at your requested time.
